However, ServiceTitan has a unique functionality called Advanced Capacity Planning that allows service contractors to define, automate, and implement a capacity planning strategy, which optimizes their schedules for profitability.
Rather than relying on CSRs to manually apply specific capacity planning strategies—like during shoulder seasons—businesses can streamline the process by setting rules in their scheduling settings. This ensures that these strategies are automatically applied. For instance, when a CSR selects a particular job type during the booking process, the system will display availability based solely on the predefined strategy.
In contrast, implementing such strategies in Service Fusion requires CSRs to rely on memory and other system tools, making the process more cumbersome and less likely to be consistently followed.
Seamless Communication Between the Office and Field with Mobile App Offline Functionality
When technicians are on jobs outside of cell service zones, they can continue using our mobile app (available on Android and iOS mobile devices).
There’s no need to revert to pen and paper, and no scenario where technicians lack the tools to complete the job. All data entered into the app is immediately uploaded to our cloud-based platform as they reenter a cell service zone, so office staff can access those job details in real-time via our desktop app.
In contrast, with Service Fusion, if your technician is at a job outside of a cell service zone, they may not have access to the job details they need to provide their best service. And they may be required to take additional steps to accomplish their job, such as asking to log into the customer’s WiFi, or writing details on paper and typing them into the app later when they have service.
These issues can come off as unprofessional to customers, and frustrating to technicians. But with ServiceTitan’s offline functionality, those issues can be avoided.
Accounting Integrations with Viewpoint Vista and Oracle Netsuite
In addition to our QuickBooks integration, which Service Fusion also offers, ServiceTitan users can integrate with Oracle Netsuite or Viewpoint Vista. So, if your business is already using Netsuite or Viewpoint Vista for your accounting, you can seamlessly integrate with ServiceTitan. (In contrast, Service Fusion will not be able to sync with your accounting system.)
With these additional accounting integrations, you can seamlessly sync all of your invoices, payments, and bills directly into your accounting system, keeping your entire enterprise up to date—with no need to switch accounting platforms.
In addition, if you use a different accounting system, you can use our CSV export feature to easily keep your data in sync with whichever accounting software you use.
Enable Customers to Book Appointments Without Needing to Speak to a CSR
Through ServiceTitan’s integration with Google Local Services Ads, prospective customers can book appointments directly through Google. When someone searches for a local service, such as A/C repair, they have the option to book online in addition to calling.
Without this integration, customers only have the option to call—and you’re unable to satisfy customers who prefer to book online. You may also lose those prospects to other businesses that use this integration.
In addition, ServiceTitan offers a web scheduling feature that you can add to your website. This provides yet another channel for customers to book appointments online, providing greater customer satisfaction while leveraging automation to reduce call demands on your CSRs.
Both our Local Services Ads integration and Web Scheduler sync seamlessly with your schedule, allowing you to view new appointments in real-time via your schedule or drag-and-drop dispatch board.
Accessing Property Data to Facilitate Sales and Business Growth
When calls come in, our call booking feature displays relevant property data such as property type, property age, square footage, and more. This allows CSRs to spot upsell opportunities, provide better context to field technicians, and provide better customer support.
Workflows to Facilitate Construction Project Management
If you’re working on construction projects that take place over weeks or months, you need a different set of tools than for a short-term residential service and repair job.

This is included with a base ServiceTitan subscription, whereas Service Fusion requires paying extra for their GPS Fleet Tracking product.
Built-In Marketing ROI Tracking
Without any add-on fees, ServiceTitan users have access to sophisticated tools for measuring the effectiveness of their marketing. For example, you can create and attach trackable phone numbers to marketing campaigns, and track ROI on individual campaigns based on how many times that number is used.
